Remote Working : Does it come naturally ?

Man is a social animal and social distancing is against human nature. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/science/2020/03/17/coronavirus-social-distancing/).

If we accept this reality, easier it will be to say that measures we are taking are temporary and over time we probably would forget and go back to what comes naturally. Even with evolution of technology have we not progressively implemented measures to build communities that could work remotely and provide services.

Looking and feeling the world through digital medium has probably become the accepted norm today, willingly or unwillingly, many of us reading this had a choice – it was a matter of exercising that choice. The pandemic made the decision easy for most of us. Having accepted this as new norm, are we making the best use of this opportunity? Is this going to create shifts in work pattern, culture and conditions? This is an attempt to examine such questions and seek responses.
